| NATO Air days Ostrava 2011 |
For our second to last airshow the team moved to Ostrava on the 23rd of September. Since the crew had to leave for Barcelona straight away on Monday morning, the team was reinforced by Danny, David and Ferdi to launch the jets on the monday after the show. Fortunately we had the pleasure of enjoying the Belgium hospitality and the 3 musketeers flew in on the Belgium C-130.
After Chunky and Hitec arrived in sunny Ostrava preparations were made for the rehersal. What is Unique about Ostrava is that the display is flown perpendicular to the runway so some extra time was spend to prepare this. In great weather Hitec flew the complete hi-show. At the end of the day the team was joined by 2 other friends, Gipsy and Tribal arrived just in time for a great diner in the city.
Saturday was again a day of beautiful weather so Hitec was able to fly the high show “with the works” (Smoke and flares).
On Sunday it was even busier then on Saturday so the team enjoyed meeting a lot of fans at our stand.
