On June the 24th we had a visitor namely Gerald Rutten.
Gerald came over to show his 100% accurately scaled RC model of our J-015 (scale 1:5).
Gerald started his project some time ago and the team helped him with data and measurements.
Gerald has built this scaled RC model of the J-015 to participate in the World Championship at the Jetworldmasters in Ohio USA.
It is really amazing the amount of detail that has been put into this project.
The paint used on his model is exactly the same as the paint used on our J-015, very expensive stuff. Landing gear exactly made to scale even the badges on the pilot……
The jet engine is also home build pretty impressive, because of the short time span this meeting was set up Gerald was unable to fly his RC model on base but we hope he can do so in the near future.
We wish Gerald all the best and hope he will win a price at the World Championship on the July 24th - August 6th at the National Museum of the USAF, Dayton, OH USA.
